Delays and inconsistencies in the renewable energy procurement programme are a deterrence to investment which will constrain the industry’s ability to grow, the Presidency has heard.

Ahead of the State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Thursday, the South African Wind Energy Association (SAWEA) briefed the Presidency’s project management office on the challenges the industry is facing.
