Lockheed Martin plans to hire workers in western Arkansas to build a part of an airplane tanker, according to a news release. Lockheed Martin has not announced where in western Arkansas the manufacturing would take place. The company currently has a factory in Camden, where 1,030 people work.Employees at the new manufacturing facility would make part of the LMXT, an airborne refueling system, for A330 airlines used by the U.S. Air Force.Arkansans would build the tanker boom.
