Crowley began distribution of sandbags on Thursday ahead of the potential threat of Cristobal early next week.
Residents were able to drive out to the Public Works Department on Jack Mitchell Drive starting at 7:30 a.m. As of Thursday afternoon, Crowley extended the distribution through Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to help residents prepare.
Those looking to receive sandbags must present a valid driver’s license with a Crowley address when at pickup. Six sandbags will be issued per driver’s license.
