With more local governments per square mile than most any other place in Nevada, Douglas residents need all the help they can get keeping track of what’s happening.
On Thursday, Douglas County announced it was upgrading the system it uses to track board meetings.
“Douglas County currently contracts with Granicus for meeting management software for public meetings and has upgraded to their Peak platform to improve on the current management of board meetings through newer and more modern software,” officials said. “Peak allows for customization at the county level and is more user friendly than IQM2. The upgrade will benefit the public with a more user-friendly way to access support material for public meetings.”

The county has also added a boards and commissions platform to streamline management of the various advisory boards.
The module allows for management and tracking of advisory boards and members through an automated dashboard to track appointments, generate reports, and accept online applications.
