Cosco Shipping in bulk cargo logistics jv

Zhejiang China Commodities City Group, located at Yiwu, China’s largest market for purchase trading. Starting from 2020, the ocean-going supply chain is facing continued pressure and the trading uncertainties and logistics costs increased significantly, said Zhejiang China Commodities City Group.

To create a logistics service model for small size bulk cargos, the jv will integrate resources from the three parities and provide international freight service and local logistics service, as well as digital information platform and trading services.

“Foreign trading business at Yiwu will be further improved, stable shipping capacity and efficient domestic and overseas warehouse resources could be well prepared when the new joint venture starts operation,” commented Zhejiang China Commodities City Group.
