Once COVID hit the U.S., everything from fuel to construction material shortages spun out of control – supply chains shut down, materials became a lot more expensive, and it became very difficult to predict when (or if) materials would become available. In addition, fuel costs made the shipping of the materials more expensive on top of a rapidly increasing materials shortage spreading across jobsites all over the country.
