Construction begins on Dutch Freight forwarder’s new building

On 30 September 2020, Edwin Roos and his family sunk Allround Cargo Handling (ACH)’s new building’s first pile. Edwin is the director of NXR Vastgoed B.V. NXR Vastgoed B.V. signed a long lease agreement for the plot of land. That was with the Dutch municipality of Ridderkerk. The new building consists of a warehouse and offices.

ACH is a logistics service provider. It has air and sea freight office in Ridderkerk, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam. The company focuses on the storage, transshipment, and logistics of food products. It specializes in products like nuts and dried fruit. It is also a Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority inspection point. The new Ridderkerk 26.000m2 branch will be built on 4.1 hectares. It mainly concerns the storage and distribution of food products. Roos expects ACH to be able to take the building into use in mid-October 2021.
