Hyderabad, March 22 (INN): Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to take appropriate measures so that farmers will not face any problems in the procurement of paddy during the Rabi season.
The Chief Minister said action plan should be prepared to procure paddy from IKP Centres, PACS, and Market Committees from the village level itself. He said that the FCI is ready to procure one lakh Tonnes of paddy. He instructed the Chief Secretary to convene an emergency review meeting on the matter on Monday to prepare the guidelines.
