Cheesecake Factory Sued by N.Y. Workers Over Wages, Delayed Pay

The Cheesecake Factory Inc. is facing a federal lawsuit from two employees in New York who say the restaurant deliberately cheated them out of minimum and overtime wages and improperly delayed their paychecks.

The lawsuit was brought by Daniel Ramos, who worked as a busboy at a Cheesecake Factory in Yonkers, N.Y., and Mirian Qquehue, a prep and line cook who worked at locations in White Plains, N.Y., and Stamford, Conn., under the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York law.
