Car crashes into Tulsa food factory during police chase

TULSA, Okla. — A vehicle crashed into a building overnight, during a pursuit that began in north Tulsa.

Tulsa police say they tried stopping the vehicle before 3 a.m. for a tag light that was out.

The driver lost control and crashed the car into a fence and a wall at Nonni’s Foods near East Pine and North New Haven Ave, police say.

The car then caught on fire, but one of the responding officers used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames.

An unknown number of individuals ran on foot from the vehicle, officers say.

Police say the vehicle was not reported stolen and no arrests have been made.

This is a developing story.
