Bulgaria’s MTG Dolphin challenges 15 mln euro patrol ship procurement procedure

SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 24 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian shipyard MTG Dolphin has challenged the procedure for awarding a 29.3 million levs ($16.5 million/15 million euro) contract for supply and maintenance of a patrol ship for the country’s border police, data showed on Friday.

MTG Dolphin has filed complaints challenging both the act for the launch of the procurement tender and subsequent clarifications given by the border police directorate at the interior ministry, according to data published by the Commission for Protection of Competition.

The project benefits from EU financing under the Internal Security Fund 2014-2020.
