Britvic Appoints New Chief Procurement Officer

Soft drinks group Britvic has announced the appointment of Matt Swindall as its chief procurement officer.

He is an experienced professional and has been part of Coca-Cola for more than 20 years in Europe and the United States.

Swindall has held several positions in the company’s procurement division as well as supply chain operations.

‘Sustainable, Fair And Robust Approach’

Chief information, transformation and digital officer at Britvic, Steve Potts, said, “Through Matt’s leadership, we will continue to establish a sustainable, fair and robust approach to procurement that delivers value for our suppliers, helps us to grow our business, and realise our vision to be the most dynamic soft drinks company, creating a better tomorrow.”

Most recently, he led the cola giant’s global procurement for plastics packaging and sweeteners.

Commenting on his new role, Swindall, said, “The chance to lead the procurement team, focus our people development around core ‘best in class’ practices, and play a significant role in contributing to the company’s ambitions represents an incredible opportunity.”
