Booker Retail Partners appoints former One Stop boss McQuarrie as chief operating officer

Booker

Jonny McQuarrie has left his role as One Stop managing director to become Booker Retail Partners chief operating officer.

Companies House documents filed in September confirmed the appointment, while McQuarrie’s LinkedIn stated that he had joined the wholesaler in July. Several sources confirmed to betterRetailing that he had left his role as the convenience franchise’s boss, which he took on in 2019.

The sources added that an interim managing director is currently overseeing the chain while One Stop finds a permanent replacement.

The appointment comes alongside another major change for Booker, as Companies House documents confirmed that Andrew Muldoon had left the wholesaler. Muldoon acted Booker chief operations officer from October 2019.

Booker and One Stop have been approached for comment.
