Bollore Transport & Logistics receives ISO 9001 certification in Mozambique

January 27, 2021: The Quality Management System set up by Bollore Transport & Logistics in Mozambique received the ISO 9001 certification, following an audit carried out by Bureau Veritas.

The certification audit that took place from October 7 to 14, 2020, encompassing the International freight, customs services, value-added warehousing, road transportation, air freight, sea freight, shipping and port operations activities, concluded that the Bolloré Transport & Mozambique’s Quality Management System does comply with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.

The International Organisation for Standardisation thus rewarded the numerous efforts made by the entire Bolloré Transport & Logistics team in Mozambique since the launch of the certification process initiated by the company’s local management, more than a year ago.

Olivier Restoueix, QHSE manager Africa, said, “This certification will enable us to better position ourselves on the logistics market in Mozambique, particularly in a context where the oil & gas sector is in great demand.”

In 2021, a new stage will be reached by integrating the ISO 45001 (health and safety management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) standards into this certification.
