In an unfortunate incident, at least two people were killed in a major blast at a factory in Khopoli .

The blast in the gas tank happened at midnight while the process was on to dissolve the raw iron material.
The deceased have been identified as Dinesh Chavan (55) and Pramod Sharma (30).
The intensity of the blast was so severe that the bodies of the victims were torn into pieces.
One more person was also injured in the incident. He has been taken to hospital and his treatment is underway.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
