Berczy wins funds to strengthen supply chain | News

Hard seltzer startup Berczy has scored a £475k cash injection from an unnamed US private equity group.

The brand – which was previously called Natrl, before relaunching late last year – said it would use the cash to “strengthen its supply chain to scale” and boost its sustainability credentials, with an eye to winning B Corp status in the future.

“As the hard seltzer concept becomes increasingly visible in the UK, we are looking to be at the forefront of the movement,” said co-founder Nick Graham.

The brand was currently “in talks with a number of the UK’s biggest retailers and wholesalers” to list the drink, Graham added.
