Bed Bath & Beyond shares rise after new supply chain chief appointed

stock rose 5.2% in Monday trading after the home goods retailer announced a new supply chain chief. Juan Guerrero will lead the company’s efforts to optimize its global supply chain effort, including strategic sourcing, aiding the launch of private-label brands and more efficient delivery services. He joins from FleetPride, a truck and trailer parts company, and, prior to that, was the global supply chain officer for Outback parent Bloomin’ Brands Inc.
