Bed Bath & Beyond appointed three RC Ventures representatives to its board through a cooperation agreement dated March 24. The three will be included on Bed Bath & Beyond’s slate of directors who will be up for election at this year’s annual shareholders meeting. Harmonic (HLIT)
Scopia Capital raised its position in the telecommunications company by more than 20%, to 9,998,085 shares. Scopia purchased 1,645,698 Harmonic shares from Feb. 1 through Feb. 18 at prices ranging from $8.95 to $9.59 apiece. Following the fresh investment, Scopia owns 9.6% of Harmonic’s tradable stock. Scopia also revealed that, on March 24, it amended a cooperation agreement with Harmonic. The move allows Scopia to nominate a director until no later than 15 days before the nomination deadline for Harmonic’s 2023 annual shareholder meeting. Before, Scopia had until a similar deadline at this year’s annual meeting.

Coliseum Capital Partners increased its holding in the building-products distributor to 5,527,572 shares. Coliseum Capital Partners bought 235,569 GMS shares at $51.97 to $55 apiece from March 18 through March 22. Coliseum Capital Partners now holds a 12.8% stake in GMS.

(KKR) trimmed its position in the financial-technology company to 42,787,369 shares. From Jan. 24 through March 22, KKR affiliate New Omaha Holdings sold 2,947,474 Fiserv shares through a 10b5-1 trading plan at per share prices ranging from $100 through $108.83. KKR now owns a 6.6% interest in Fiserv.
California Resources

Goldentree Asset Management reduced its interest in the independent oil-and-gas explorer to 8,293,023 shares. That figure accounts for 188,937 shares underlying warrants. Goldentree sold 679,758 California Resources shares at prices ranging from $43.65 to $49.78 each from March 7 through March 28. Goldentree now holds 10.5% of California Resources’ outstanding stock.
