The term for the review of the complaint is not yet set.

At the end of August LDz announced a procurement for design and construction 48 stations and stops to ensure appropriate railway infrastructure for new passenger trains. The procurement is divided into six parts. The total price of the contract is estimated at EUR 53.3 million.

Offers are allowed to be submitted until Wednesday, 25 November.

The procurement is divided into six parts that include construction of heightened platforms along railway lines Rīga–Jelgava, Rīga–Tukums II, Rīga–Krustpils, Zemitāni–Skulte (Zemināti–Vecāķi, Alfa), Zemitāni–Skulte (Kalngale–Skulte) and installation of a unified information exchange and video surveillance system. It is planned the contract price in this section of the procurement will be EUR 7 million. The contract’s term is planned to last 685 days.

In the procurement section Heightened Platform Construction for railway line Riga-Tukums II work is planned to be performed at seven stations – Priedaine, Jaundubulti, Ķemeri, Smārde, Milzkalne, Tukums I, Tukums II, as well as Bolderāja–Silikātu and Bolderāja–Slokas. The planned contract price in this procurement is EUR 7.2 million, and the length of the contract is planned at 1 050 days.

In the third section of the procurement it is planned to perform construction at 12 railway stations. The total price of the contract is EUR 12.5 million. The length of the contract is planned at 1 050 days.

In the fourth section of the procurement platform construction is planned along the railway line Zemitāni–Skulte (Zemināti–Vecāķi, Alfa). Work is also planned for nine more stations – Zemitāni, Brasa, Sarkandaugava, Mangaļi, Ziemeļblāzma, Vedaugava, Vecāķi, Dauderi and Alfa. The total contract price in this section of the procurement is EUR 10.4 million and the length of the procurement is 1 050 days.

In the fifth section of the procurement platform construction is planned along the railway line Zemitāni–Skulte (Kalngale–Skulte). Work will be performed at 11 railway stations – Kalngale, Garciems, Garupe, Carnikava, Gauja, Lilaste, Pabaži, Saulkrasti, Ķīšupe, Zvejniekciems and Skulte. The planned contract price in this procurement section is EUR 10.4 million. The length of the work here is planned to be 1 050 days.

The project also includes a section on installation of an information exchange and video surveillance system. It is planned to be installed in Riga and 48 stations under modernization. The planned contract price is EUR 5.8 million and the length of the project is 1 050 days.

Each station included in the project will be fitted with heightened platforms, modern and functional roofing, benches and cycling racks, tactile lanes and tactile guides, notification and video surveillance system, as well as adapt the platforms for disabled people. At the same time, it is planned to relocate stops to locations more convenient for residents.
