Apollo Food halts factory ops due to Covid-19

KUALA LUMPUR: Snack maker Apollo Food Holdings Bhd confirmed that its factory in Larkin, Johor Baru, has suspended its operations temporarily due to the Covid-19 infections.

The company expects the factory to resume production on Dec 18.

Apollo Food told Bursa Malaysia it has received notice from the Health Ministry on Dec 11 to halt operations at the factory until Dec 17 for the disinfection of its premises.

“The group expects to resume operations on Dec 18,2020 or earlier, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities, ” it said.
