Americans to build factory and distribution center in Zabrze

American grill producer Weber-Stephen Products, operated by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), will build a plant and create a European distribution center in Zabrze, PAIH said.

Investment outlays are to reach nearly €50 million, and production will start in 2021. About 250 people will find work in the Polish Weber plant.

“Weber-Stephen Products manufactures coal, gas and electric grills and accessories. Most plants are located in the United States. In Europe, where the company has a network of distribution centers, an export-oriented factory is to be built.

The company has considered many countries for the location of the new investment, but eventually, the choice narrowed down to Poland and the Czech Republic,” the release informed.
