SALISBURY, Md. – The American Red Cross is distributing emergency supplies to families on Delmarva impacted by tropical storm Isaias, which rolled through the area Tuesday.
Clean-up kits will be handed out Saturday and Sunday at four locations on Delmarva. Those kits include the following: bucket, mop, push brooms, scrub brush, sponge, squeegee, hard surface cleaning solution, trash bags, work and Nitrile gloves, tarp, and face masks.
Volunteers will be handing out one kit per car. The American Red Cross asks that people who need to pick up supplies come to the drive-thru event, pop open their trunk, and stay in their car, so that volunteers can safely put the supplies in their trunk. If a trunk isn’t available, volunteers will put the bucket next to the car.
The group says only homes that have experienced damage should pick up kits.
