Amazon warehouse opening in Greenville

GREENVILLE, Wis. (NBC 26) — Amazon is coming to Northeast Wisconsin.

A 110,000 square foot distribution facility is now under construction in Greenville.

According to Greenville Town Administrator, Joel Gregozeski the facility is located on Levi Drive in the Town of Greenville just northwest of the Fox River Mall.

“We’re excited to have this new development come to Greenville. The new full time positions are being created during a time when people are looking for work. This business will also draw other supply chain enterprises to our area creating additional economic development and more jobs,” Gregozski tells NBC 26.

Gregozeski says the $19 million dollar project will employ between 140 to 160 full-time jobs with another 40 to 60 seasonal positions.

Amazon is already hiring positions at the plant.

Currently, six plant positions for the location are posted on its website, ranging from warehouse team member to area manager.

Amazon plans to begin operations at the end of the month.
