After two breakdowns, cargo ship towed to Brest | ALEXIA I

General cargo ship ALEXIA I broke down in Nort sea / English Channel twice during 3 days, finally was taken on tow and towed to Brest. The ship left Immingham bound for Lisbon, and encountered main engine issue on Oct 5, she stopped, but crew managed to fix problem, and resume voyage. Early in the morning Oct 8 she suffered steering failure, and reportedly, requested assistance. SAR ship ABEILLE BOURBON responded, she was taken on tow in the afternoon Oct 8 and arrived at Brest in the morning Oct 9, where she was berthed. Remained berthed as of morning Oct 10.
