ADP, the human resources and payroll company, sued a former sales executive Monday in New Jersey District Court for alleged breach of contract. The suit, filed by Genova Burns and McDonald Hopkins, accuses Rocco LaCivita of breaching non-solicitation and non-compete agreements by accepting a similar role at rival Ceridian. The suit seeks an emergency order enjoining LaCivita from working for an ADP competitor for 12 months. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:21-cv-20001, ADP, Inc. v.
