June 6, 2022 – ABB will open a distribution centre for its Installation Products Division in the area of Lehigh Valley, Pa.
Measuring around 350,000 square feet, the distribution centre will supply a range of electrical products and create about 100 jobs.
“This investment adds to over $100 million in Installation Products expansions and improvements we’ve made in the U.S. over the past few years to drive capacity and innovation,” said Matthias Heilmann, president, ABB Installation Products Division.
Expected to be fully operational in January 2023, the facility will stock more than 5000 medium-voltage, industrial and consumer market high-demand products, such as Ty-Rap cable ties, Color-Keyed lugs, Steel City commercial boxes and fittings, and Elastimold cable accessories.
ABB Installation Products is a global player in the design, manufacture and marketing of products used to manage the connection, protection and distribution of electrical power in industrial, construction and utility applications.
