‘A younger rider for the factory could be more interesting; I can stay here or look for alternatives’ – Johann Zarco

Johann Zarco doesn’t know what his future will be from next season onwards, but he admitted today that he is not worried about this issue for now, since his interest is in being in a good plan, which could serve him to renew with Ducati or to entice other teams to count on, while admitting that for the Borgo Panigale manufacturer, a younger rider could be more interesting.

In a debrief, the Pramac rider clarified that he is not currently thinking about what the future holds for him, and explained what his priority is at the moment, while analyzing that may be attractive even for other teams: ‘I’m not thinking about my future. I want to perform, that’s the first thing I want and if I manage to do that I’ll have opportunities to continue with Ducati or think about other teams or factories’.

In the opinion of the #5, a younger rider could be an asset to the factory Ducati project, as he explained:

– Maybe a younger rider for the factory team would be more interesting, but I think as long as I can fight for the podiums with Pramac it will be good to continue with Ducati and with Pramac to continue to build something that we believe in, and that can be very good.
