A virtual tour to Chocolate Factory by Birla Kindergarten

Doha: The pandemic didn’t deter the Kindergartners at the Birla Public School from learning and enhancing their knowledge day in and day out.

Recently, the students were taken on a virtual tour to the Chocolate Factory and into the making of their favourite goody, the chocolate.

The students sat glued to the screen as the mesmerising video of the tour around the Chocolate Factory was played.

The exciting video soon let out the secret of how a bar of yummy chocolate derived from a fruit cacao pod tree.

Each child watching this video thought that making a bar of chocolate was the easiest job in the world. And they grabbed some butter and some sugar to make their favourite chocolate.

The song ‘Choco-latte’ was a good energiser for kids. It got them rolling about with fun and energy. The kids not only witnessed the making of the chocolate but also learned vocabulary which enhanced their language skills.

Parents were as enthusiastic as the kids themselves and to add to the excitement they guided their little ones through a crash course of baking so the kids could decorate their favourite with some Chocolate spread, Nutella and then decorate it with choco chips and gems.

In times like the present one, virtual tours are giving kids’ learning continuity and keeping them engaged in the best way possible.
