ST LOUIS (AP) _ Caleres Inc. (CAL) on Monday reported fiscal third-quarter profit of $28 million.
The St. Louis-based company said it had profit of 69 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and costs related to mergers and acquisitions, were 78 cents per share.
The footwear wholesaler and retailer posted revenue of $792.4 million in the period.
Caleres Inc. expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.35 to $2.40 per share.
Caleres Inc. shares have declined 20% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $22.23, a drop of 23% in the last 12 months.
