A major Manatee County road was closed Tuesday morning because of suspicious material.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, 14th Street West (U.S. 41) was closed in both directions from 63rd Avenue West to Florida Boulevard while deputies investigated suspicious materials at a nearby business.
Drivers were advised to seek an alternate route.
