Meat supply chain to remain open, but production to drop – 2GB

The meat supply chain will remain open under new restrictions announced in Victoria.

Meatworks will move to a 33 percent reduction of its peak workforce, and there’ll be an increased usage of PPE, and temperature checking.

Australian Meat Industry Council believes it will lead to a 30 percent reduction in supply chain.
