Elon University / Today at Elon / Seven full-time faculty members join Love School of Business

The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business welcomed new full-time faculty members in the Department of Economics and the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship.

The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business welcomed four new full-time faculty members and three visiting faculty members in August 2022, bringing the school’s total number of full-time faculty to 68.

  • Zahra Akbari, lecturer in economics

    • Scholarly interests: Health economics, behavioral economics, drug abuse, racial/gender disparities, mental health, income inequality, labor economics
  • Mustafa Akben, assistant professor in management

    • Scholarly interests: Proactivity, creativity, social network analysis, biohacking, machine learning
  • Lana Waschka, assistant professor of marketing

    • Scholarly interests: Pro-social behavior, cognitive processing, digital marketing, consumer perception
  • Cora Wigger, assistant professor of economics
