CAA will host food distribution for Thermalito in Oroville Friday | News

THERMALITO, Calif. – The Community Action Agency (CAA) will distribute food to the public at a County Food Action Agency Expansion Program Distribution event on Friday for Thermalito in Oroville from 10 a.m. to noon or until supplies run out.

CAA will be distributing food at the Nelson Sports Complex at 2299 6th St. in Oroville.

The food boxes include healthy, shelf-stable and perishable food depending on availability. Boxes weighing 12 to 17 pounds will be placed into vehicles by volunteers. Everyone is asked to stay inside their vehicles.

This effort is of no cost to those attending and aims to assist families impacted by COVID-19.
