Jaipur: A major fire broke out at a foam and mattress factory on Saturday morning in Murlipura.
SHO (Murlipura) Devendra Singh said that no one was injured in the incident and the fire was brought under control within an hour.
Eight fire tenders were pressed into service as soon as the fire department’s control room received the information of the blaze.
“The factory is located on road number 5 of Murlipura. There were some labourers present inside, but they escaped unscathed,” said an official.
The police said that they had also removed the inflammable materials including gas cylinders from the factory to avert a further flare-up.
