For a brief moment in December, the Sonoma Cheese Factory reopened for holiday shopping on Spain Street.
The deli and market, which closed almost a year ago, is open from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Wednesday this week, Dec. 9-11, with pre-made sandwiches, beverages and random gift items.
Cheese Factory officials couldn’t comment on future plans for the business, which won a hard-earned fight for renewing a 2004 use permit earlier this year – though an appeal to that decision has been filed with the City of Sonoma.
