Factory fire halts production of Toyota cars

Production of Toyota Motor Corp.’s cars was suspended at two of Daihatsu Motor Co. Ltd.’s plants in Japan after a supplier factory fire caused shortage of necessary parts, Hindustan Times reported citing Bloomberg. Daihatsu has suspended production until Nov. 28. The suspension affects the production of Toyota’s Raize SUVs.
