4 killed as tank collapses in factory in E China’s Zhejiang

At least four people were killed and 16 others injured after a sewage tank collapsed at a factory in east China’s Zhejiang Province at around 5:19 p.m. on Tuesday.

At the time of this report, over 110 firefighters were searching the site for survivors.

The local government said in a statement that all the injured had been transferred to the hospital.

The fire department earlier said they responded to an incident of people being trapped in a factory after stacks fell down due to a suspected explosion of the 15-meter-high sewage tank situated just outside the building. The cause of the explosion was not immediately clear and a further probe has been ordered.
