Many readers may be wondering, what does “procurement and distribution” do for our schools?

BPS Procurement & Distribution Services is responsible for a wide variety of operational services such as handling contracts, working with vendor records, school courier services, warehouse operations, distribution of supplies and testing, and of course, ordering and distribution for all of the PPE to ensure our schools and staff were ready to receive students back this fall.

“Our Procurement & Distribution Services team is honored to achieve the AEP Award,” said Kristine Rodriguez, Director of Procurement & Distribution Services. “I am extremely thankful for our amazing and dedicated team! This will be an annual benchmark for our continual improvement.”

Brevard Public Schools is one of only three Florida School Districts to receive this award. The other two Florida Districts receiving the AEP Award for 2020 are Orange and Palm Beach.

“Our Procurement & Distribution Services team is honored to achieve the AEP Award,” said Kristine Rodriguez, Director of Procurement & Distribution Services. “I am extremely thankful for our amazing and dedicated team! This will be an annual benchmark for our continual improvement.”
