Jens Juel Rasmussen, Unifeeder Area Director, Scandinavia, said: We are reacting to our customers’ needs and requirements. With our new services, we aim to ensure regular capacity and frequency to serve our customers overseas cargo and minimize potential bottlenecks in the continental hub-ports, which will ultimately create more reliable and resilient supply chains.”

These new services represent an excellent opportunity to transport containerized cargo between Scandinavia and Continental Europe. It enables cargo to be moved by sea to reduce the number of land miles laden and empty containers are required to travel, providing sustainability benefits across the value chain.

The new routes are weekly sailings with fixed transit times.

For the Wilhelmshaven-Fredericia-Aarhus service, the vessel will depart from Wilhelmshaven on Tuesday, while calling Port of Fredericia Saturday, and Port of Aarhus Sunday.

For the Wilhelmshaven-Oslo-Gothenburg service, the vessel will depart from Wilhelmshaven on Tuesday, while calling Port of Oslo on Thursday, and Port of Gothenburg on Friday.
