BUCKHANNON, W.VA. – WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital is recognizing its supply chain professionals during National Healthcare Supply Chain Week (Oct. 2-8).

Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management of the American Hospital Association, the leading membership group for healthcare supply chain professionals, highlights the week as an opportunity to recognize their importance and honor them for their exceptional contributions to patient care.

This year’s theme, “Healthcare Supply Chain: Leveraging Collaboration, Driving Innovation,” celebrates the central role of healthcare supply chain professionals in supporting their organizations through incredible collaboration and maximizing scarce resources by forming strategic alliances – the true embodiment of advancing healthcare through supply chain excellence.
