The 31,080-square-foot location of a glass factory in Whitinsville sold for $4.2 million on Aug. 1.

The glass manufacturer, HMI Glass will remain at the location at 369 Douglas Road, said Josh Foster, the company’s vice president of operations, in an email to WBJ.

The seller was Woon-Tech, Inc., which is a corporation registered at the property. Woon-Tech bought the property in 2018 for $4.4 million, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.

HMI Cardinal, founded in Louisville, Ky., acquired Woon-Tech in 2018 to form HMI Glass. The company also has a location in Reno, Nev.

The buyer was Douglas 369 Property, LLC of Paxton. That corporation is registered to Henry Kenary of Paxton and Jonathan Grenier of Boston.

The Town of Northbridge assesses the 3.2-acre property and building at just less than $1.8 million.
