announced today that Western Dental Services, Inc., California’s oldest

has selected its Strategic
sourcing and Contract management solutions to cost-effectively
automate sourcing events and achieve contract compliance.
In an initiative that streamlines both sourcing and contract
management processes for Western Dental, which is one of the
country’s largest and most experienced dental organizations, the
provider will implement solutions that transform these previously
cumbersome manual tasks into automated processes. This change will
afford Western Dental’s Procurement team a best in class set of tools,
which will serve as a foundation upon which other modules can be added
at a later date.
In a rigorous four month selection process, Western Dental evaluated
numerous service providers, looking for ease of use, functionality, and
flexibility as key criteria. Zycus conducted a two week pilot program
with Western Dental users to offer hands-on experience of its
