Wasco and Aircovent join forces

NETHERLANDS: Rotterdam-based air conditioning and refrigeration accessory supplier Aircovent is to move its business to Rotterdam Noord in a merger with the Wasco location in the city.

Aircovent, which was acquired by the Dutch HVACR wholesaler Wasco in 2017, will make the move at the end of this month. Aircovent is now integrated in all 34 Wasco branches across the Netherlands.

In addition to the new office space on Sheffieldstraat, there is a spacious warehouse available on Corkstraat with plentiful stock. Since last summer, Aircovent stock has been housed in Wasco’s distribution centres in Apeldoorn and Twello.

At the time of Aircovent’s purchase, Wasco was a subsidiary of Ferguson plc. In 2018, the Wasco business was acquired in a management buy-out with investment company Gilde Equity Management Benelux.
