Viral TikTok shows plans for new shipping container food market in Ireland

This will be. perfect road trip destination this summer!

Rob Coughlan took to TikTok to share his plans to transform The Boatyard in Cobh, Cork into a brand new food market, converting seven shipping containers into restaurants.

“I decided to set up a new shipping container market in Cork” Rob explained in the video on his TikTok account @theboatyardcobh.

“So I recently bought five shipping containers that I am going to convert into restaurants,. I got myself an old boatyard in Cobh, directly next to the ferry” he continues.

The video then gives a look at the new site, with the shipping containers being brought in.

Rob explains that the containers will become a fish and chip shop, one for coffee, another for crepes and a chicken food spot as well.

There is set to be outdoor seating as well which will make it an ideal spot for some food during the summer.
