Video: Major fire at auto parts factory in Gurugram

A major fire broke out in an auto parts manufacturing unit in Gurugram‘s Binola village on Saturday morning.

Fire officers said the fire broke out at around 4 am and that it was not known what caused it.

More than a dozen fire tenders were rushed to the spot to control the blaze, PTI reported. Fire engines from IMT, Manesar, Sector 37, Sector 29 and Bhim Nagar stations were rushed to the industrial area.

A police team also reached the factory. “We have also rescued six workers who were stuck inside the factory. We are putting all efforts to control the blaze,” Narender Yadav, a fire officer said.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
