Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to set up network of wholesale distribution centers

AKIPRESS.COM – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Bahyt Sultanov during his visit to Tashkent.

The Deputy Prime Ministers discussed relevant issues of bilateral relations, ways to deepen economic partnership in priority areas.

The emphasis was made on further measures of deepening of investment, trade, transport and logistical, interregional cooperation.

The sides agreed to intensify work of groups of experts for regular discussion and monitoring of implemntation of the roadmap for boosting bilateral trade between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan up to $10 billion in the next 5 years.

Further actions in creation of a network of joint wholesale distribution centers in both countries were identified. These centers will give additional impetus to development of industrial cooperation between producers of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
