Urban League food distribution still going on at noon at Jamestown Mall, despite late Friday fire

FLORISSANT, Missouri — Despite a three-alarm fire Friday at the old Jamestown Mall in North St. Louis County, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis Inc. will still coordinate its weekly food drive at noon today at the mall helping distribute food and toiletries to people in need.

Last weekend, the Urban League coordinated its weekly food drive with Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Head Start/Early Head Start and 50 other organizations, providing enough food for 3,000 families residing in East St. Louis and surrounding communities.
