Union County: New Vaccine Appointments Available Jan. 24, Distribution Site in Plainfield

UNION COUNTY, NJ — The County of Union will release a new block of ​appointments, starting Sunday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m., on its online portal at www.ucnj.org for those wishing to book a COVID-19 vaccination at the Kean University vaccination clinic in Union.

The county will also open a vaccination clinic at Plainfield High School, 950 Park Ave., to serve those who live in the western part of Union County on Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Appointments for the Plainfield clinic must be made online at www.ucnj.org starting Sunday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m.

No walkups will be accepted. You must make an appointment on the Union County registration system for both sites.

The announcement did not say how many appointments would open.

Later this week, the county will be announcing a phone number, and will open a call center for appointments aimed at serving seniors 65 and older, and those who lack access to the Internet.
