BUCHAREST (Romania), June 15 (SeeNews) – Transnational consumer goods company Unilever said on Monday that it has named Iustina Haler-Monoranu as new general manager of its Betty Ice factory in Romania’s northeastern town of Suceava.
Iustina Haler-Monoranu is replacing interim manager Ionut Ilie, who this spring took over the role from Betty Ice founder Vasile Armenean, Unilever said in a press release.
Ionut Ilie is the general manager of the ice cream division at Unilever South Central Europe.
Iustina Haler-Monoranu previously served as quality system of suppliers and complaints treating manager within Lactalis Romania. With over 23 years of experience in the food industry, she held positions in procurement, quality and production at Dorna Lactate. Also, she was head of milling and bakery company Mopan’s factory in Vatra Dornei.
Betty Ice was founded in 1994 and currently employs 760 people in its factory in Suceava and in more than 180 ice cream kiosks open in summer.
