Unified Commerce Solutions, a US-based FinTech firm providing B2B AR technology has changed its corporate name to Unified Payments Group.
The name change is expected to reflect the company’s expertise in improving order-to-cash efficiency with digital, least-cost routing solutions for AR cycles and its wide-ranging objective of driving innovation in B2B AR workflows.
The new name emphasizes the FinTech’s expanding cloud-based AR technology stack of modular, open API solutions, supported by on-going consultation from Payment Acceptance Industry subject matter experts, according to a statement.
“The name better positions our organization in new markets following a fourth quarter in which we were endorsed as the Exclusive Payment Acceptance Technology Partner by a dozen new Trade and Professional Associations,” John K. Perez, Unified’s CEO said.
“Unified’s accounts receivable, payment and treasury management solutions have been embraced by the B2B community, including many enterprise-sized wholesaler-distributors and manufacturers, proving that we’re helping to change the AR environment in the U.S., so it’s fitting that we’ve also changed our name to reflect this progress,” John added.
